Profile Clicking Listener - Who's looking into Your Profile? l$199

“This can be very fun for all (or embarrassing for somebody at first, lol), but everyone who knows some little tricks in SL, can recognize you and you won’t be anonymous any more in this case.”

What ever happened to the good old days when you could at least LOOK at a friggin’ profile without having to advertise it to the entire world?!? Right, that was before Emerald and all it’s griefer based exploits. ‘Griefer based’ you say? Oh yeah. Most of the people who created Emerald are serial griefers with multiple accounts banned for everything from crashing people to crashing sims to outright content theft. You didn’t know that? Would you have downloaded it and used it if you had?

Considering they seem to like putting in tools that send information without the person’s knowledge it makes you wonder what else they are collecting from the people who use their viewer, doesn’t it? It’s 10 o’clock. Do you know what your password is? They might.

SOOOooooo…  NEXT!

From the listing on XStreet: “The Authors of the Emerald Viewer annouced that in their next Emerald version the profile clicking detection will not be supported any more! So You can buy this product only at your own risk (or if you intend to use the HUD only to the next Emerald release) and I cannot influence on their decision and take any responsibility in the future.”

pffft… It’s pretty sad when they have to be forced or shamed into doing what is right but apparently that is the only thing that works.

Can they do this for the rest of the features in Emerald that serve no purpose but to benefit griefers?

(Edit: removed lots of blah blah denying responsibility for other people misusing the hacked features their griefer coders built into their viewer)

Next time do your research before being oh so sensational 🙂

(Edit: Next time put more effort into hiring honest professional people and less effort into plausible deniability before handing out griefer tools en mass)
